Program · We turn the story into allies
Each year we bring Ukrainian veterans to Washington — through sport, reintegration, and the U.S.–Ukraine charity golf tournament — turning shared experience into lasting alliances.

Rehabilitation isn't only clinical. For many veterans, recovery begins the moment they're treated as people again — not patients, not cases, but partners with something to teach.
Every year, Borderlands brings a delegation of 15 Ukrainian veterans to Washington, D.C. for the U.S.–Ukraine charity golf tournament — days of sport, camaraderie, and connection with their American counterparts. What starts on the course becomes a network: mentorship, friendship, and alliances that outlast any single event.
How it works
We bring 15 Ukrainian veterans to Washington each year, covering travel, lodging, and care.
The U.S.–Ukraine charity golf tournament pairs them with American veterans, sponsors, and supporters.
Relationships built on the course turn into lasting reintegration support and cross-border friendship.
