Program · We turn the story into allies

Recovery, dignity, and a few rounds of golf.

Each year we bring Ukrainian veterans to Washington — through sport, reintegration, and the U.S.–Ukraine charity golf tournament — turning shared experience into lasting alliances.

Rehabilitation isn't only clinical. For many veterans, recovery begins the moment they're treated as people again — not patients, not cases, but partners with something to teach.

Every year, Borderlands brings a delegation of 15 Ukrainian veterans to Washington, D.C. for the U.S.–Ukraine charity golf tournament — days of sport, camaraderie, and connection with their American counterparts. What starts on the course becomes a network: mentorship, friendship, and alliances that outlast any single event.
