Ukrainian veterans at the Heroes of Ukraine charity golf tournament, Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, London

Appeal · 16–19 November 2026 · Dallas, Texas

Four Ukrainian veterans in Texas.

In November 2026, four Ukrainian veterans travel from Ukraine to Dallas to tell their own story and to meet the people who can help them. What they build here also prepares the Ukraine Freedom Summit in Dallas in March 2027. There are no flights out of Ukraine, so getting them here is the hard part. Every cost is listed below.

We didn’t wait for donations. The founding team paid about $13,000 from its own funds so four Ukrainian veterans could make this trip. Your gift replaces that money and carries the work on to the Ukraine Freedom Summit in Dallas in March.

Trip dates: 16–19 November 2026. After the trip, this page will carry the report — every dollar accounted for, like our Slovenia report.

What it costs

Getting four people from Kyiv to Texas.

No aircraft leave Ukraine. Every journey starts with a road to the Polish border and the long haul across Poland to Warsaw — then the same road home. The United States is the furthest we go, and it shows. These figures are provisional and will firm up as flights are booked.

Kyiv to the Polish border, and across Poland to Warsaw$110 Cover it
Flights, Warsaw → Dallas, return$1,800 Cover it
US visa appointment fee$180 Cover it
Travel and medical insurance$70 Cover it
Four nights' accommodation$650 Cover it
Meals and local transport$490 Cover it
The same road home, Warsaw to Kyiv$110 Cover it
One veteran, travel$3,410
Coaching and range time, per veteran$1,200 Cover it
Four veterans — travel and coaching$18,440

Cover a line, meet the veterans. Everyone who covers a line on this list gets a special gift from the delegation when we meet in Dallas.

The coaching is the half nobody funds. It is months of range time in Ukraine before anyone is good enough to be worth flying — and it is what puts a Ukrainian team on the course at all.

Provisional. Visa timing and flight prices move, and the delegation size is not final — these numbers will be updated as the trip is confirmed.

Why the trip matters

Their story, told by them.

They speak for themselves

Americans mostly hear about this war from reporters. In Dallas they hear it from Ukrainians who served — across a table, over a meal, on the course.

Golf is part of their recovery

We use golf as a practical tool for concentration, physical activity, communication and confidence. The months of coaching in Ukraine before the trip matter as much as the trip.

They meet people who can help

Their days in Dallas are spent alongside American veterans, churches, clubs and supporters — people who can stand by them after they go home.

In September 2025, twenty-seven Ukrainian veterans played alongside British veterans in London. Dallas, in November 2026, builds on it.
